Microsoft 365 vs G Suite?

G Suite and Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) are fairly similar in their offerings. Both are subscription-based, charging per person/month across multiple tiers depending on what features are needed. Both have cloud storage, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email, calendar and contact programs – as well as video conferencing, messaging and note-taking.

G Suite is web-based but does have the capability to work offline. Microsoft 365 is based on the installed desktop office suite; however it too provides web-based versions of its applications.
